Power Optimisers

A solar optimiser - also known as a power optimiser for solar panels - is a module-level power electronic (MLPE) device that sits between traditional string inverters and microinverters. Attached to each panel, these DC-DC converters perform maximum power point tracking (MPPT) at the module level and convert its optimal DC output to match system-wide performance. This allows each panel to operate independently while still feeding into a single central solar inverter, maximising energy harvest even in systems affected by shading, roof angle variation, or debris, and helping to reduce performance degradation and maintain long-term efficiency.
