K2 Pitched Roof Systems
K2 pitched-roof mounting systems are built for installers who want fast fitting, secure connections, and a clean finish across a wide range of roof types. From compact rail solutions for tile roofs to robust rails for larger arrays, K2’s modular approach makes it easy to choose the right system for the roof structure, loading requirements, and installation style.
- Insertion System – Best for tile roofs, corrugated fibre cement, corrugated sheet metal, and trapezoidal sheet metal when you want a sleek, low-profile finish and fast installs (no standard module clamps).
- MiniRail System – Best for trapezoidal sheet metal roofs. Short-rail solution designed to reduce components and speed up installs, ideal where full-length rails aren’t needed.
- MultiRail System – Best for trapezoidal sheet metal and corrugated sheet metal roofs. Flexible short-rail platform for versatile roof layouts, balancing speed and adjustability.
- SingleRail System – Best for pantiles, corrugated roofs (metal or fibre cement via hanger bolts), and standing seam metal roofs (via seam clamps). Classic single-layer rail setup for straightforward installs and broad compatibility.
- SolidRail System – Best “cover-most-roofs” option: suitable for pan tiles, plain tiles, slate, plus trapezoidal and corrugated metal, corrugated fibre cement, and standing seam (using the appropriate roof attachments). Heavy-duty rail option for higher loads and larger spans, often chosen for bigger arrays or tougher site conditions.
- BasicRail System – Best for trapezoidal sheet metal roofs; it’s a floating rail concept (BasicLock) designed to manage thermal expansion. Cost-effective rail solution for standard pitched-roof PV builds with reliable performance.
- CrossHook / CrossRail CrossHook – A flexible rail system compatible with tile and standing seam roofs via the relevant roof attachments. The system is useful on uneven roofs or when optimising rail positioning.
