Ways to Pay


Alternergy offer a variety of ways to pay. Please be aware that goods will not be dispatched until Alternergy has received payment in full (in cleared funds) unless agreed otherwise and some payments may take 3 working days to clear. Our bank details can be found on your order confirmation or invoice.

 Alternergy is enrolled in Trustwave’s Trusted Commerce™ program to validate compliance with PCI DSS mandated by the major credit card associations.

 

Secure Card Payment


Paying by card, either through our online shop or over the phone, is the fastest way to pay. Please see below the card types that we accept from our customers:

  • VISA - Visa Debit/Delta, Visa Electron, Visa Business, Visa Corporate
  • MASTERCARD - Debit Mastercard, Mastercard Credit, Mastercard World, Mastercard Business, Mastercard Corporate, Maestro / UK Maestro
  • AMEX - American Express (Amex)


Faster Payment


Faster Payments can be made online, over the phone, in branch or through self-service kiosks in under 2 hours. There is a value limit which varies between accounts and some banks charge a fee. Check with your bank for more info.

BACS


BACS is an electronic system to make payments from one account to another. Please be aware that payments via BACS may take 3 working days to clear and goods will not be despatched until full payment has been received.

CHAPS


CHAPS guarantees same-day payment so long as instructions are received by 2pm. There is no limit to the amount of money you can send, although banks often charge £25 for this service.

Cash/Cheque


Alternergy do not accept cash or cheques in exchange for goods.
