The Sungrow PowerKeeper Battery Management System (BMS) is the control core of the PowerKeeper C&I energy storage platform, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operation across modular battery systems.


Designed for PowerKeeper’s DC-coupled, modular architecture, the BMS manages and monitors each 12.5 kWh battery module, enabling accurate capacity matching to site requirements. This helps eliminate oversizing, improve solar self-consumption, and support cost-effective system expansion.

Advanced monitoring, protection, and balancing functions safeguard battery health throughout the system lifecycle, supporting long-term reliability and stable operation. During grid disturbances or outages, the BMS plays a critical role in enabling seamless backup power, helping businesses maintain continuity and operational resilience.

PowerKeeper is designed to protect every customer’s investment through a highly flexible, modular configuration. Built on a 12.5 kWh module architecture, a single hybrid inverter supports 50–1000 kWh of storage with 2–8 hours of duration. For larger requirements, multiple inverters can be connected in parallel, enabling seamless and scalable system expansion.
