Sungrow’s PowerKeeper Series is a modular commercial and industrial (C&I) energy storage solution designed to maximise solar value, eliminate oversizing, and ensure continuous power even during grid outages.
DC-coupled and designed for today’s C&I challenges, PowerKeeper is built around Sungrow’s SH-CX series C&I hybrid inverters, simplifying the full lifecycle from installation to long-term operation.
With 12.48 kWh battery modules, the system scales from 50 kWh up to nearly 250 kWh per unit. This is achieved by stacking up to 5 modules per tower and linking up to 4 towers in parallel per inverter unit. With the PowerKeeper Combiner Box, cascading up to approximately 1,000 kWh is possible, with the availability of this function announced from Q3/2026.
This makes PowerKeeper suitable for a wide range of sites, from small commercial buildings to large industrial facilities, while enabling precise capacity matching and reduced upfront investment.

When building a multi-stack unit under one inverter, all parallel stacks must have identical module counts, meaning the same physical height and voltage level.
