Sungrow Optimiser-Compatible Inverters
Optimiser-compatible inverters, such as selected Sungrow models, can be paired with compatible power optimisers to improve solar-system efficiency, monitoring and reliability. Each optimiser connects directly to an individual solar panel, enabling module-level Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) and performance monitoring.
This configuration helps reduce the impact of shading, soiling and module mismatch, allowing each panel to operate independently and supporting higher overall DC energy yield.
Unlike conventional string systems, where the performance of one underperforming module can affect the wider string, an optimiser-compatible system manages each panel individually. Compatible systems may also support rapid shutdown functionality, helping improve safety and meet applicable installation requirements.
Power optimisers are optional and are only required where module-level optimisation, monitoring or rapid shutdown is needed
