SMA Comfort Warranty Extensions
SMA meets the highest requirements and offers superior products and services. The inverters have a 5-year standard warranty which can be extended for a period of 10, 15 or 20 years at any time during the five-year manufacturer's warranty.
The Comfort warranty extension includes the following services:
✓ SMA Replacement Device: If a device is defective SMA will send a replacement inverter with all the necessary updates at no cost. Furthermore, installers will receive a lump sum compensation in case of exchanges under warranty. SMA takes care of shipping costs and replacement on-site.
✓ SMA Service Line: Installers receive assistance with their technical questions and when service is needed.
