The Growatt MIC 3000-X is a light and compact residential inverter. The maximum DC voltage is 500V, a start voltage of 50V. There is one MPPT with a maximum input of 13A and features a DC switch, surge protection, and an option for AFCI.
Lastly, another feature that contributes to both safety and reliability is the use of natural convection cooling, rather than a mechanical cooling system. There are fewer moving parts, which means less maintenance and less risk of malfunctions.
IMPORTANT: installers shouldn’t use CT to achieve anti reflux function for MIC750-3300TL-X inverters. Instead they should use the single phase Growatt meter.
Growatt has confirmed that although the use of CT is mentioned in the user manual, because issues have been found with this type of option, they decided to stop promoting CT for limitation to the grid altogether. Therefore, now they recommend the use of the Growatt Meter ONLY for that purpose.
