Delivery Information

UK Deliveries

We can deliver to any specified UK address, be it your own or a customer’s, or you can choose to collect your goods from one of our warehouses free of charge. Delivery to all parts of the UK is available, but cost and delivery time may vary depending on your location. We will endeavour to deliver your solar products on the next working day before 5:30pm unless specified otherwise. Pre-12noon option is also available. Orders must be placed before midday to guarantee next day delivery.

We keep our freight charges at cost price to ensure that you are getting the best deal possible!

International Deliveries

Alternergy are able to deliver overseas but delivery time and cost will be variable and will have to be confirmed before shipping. Please call us directly on +44 20 3763 7000 if you wish to make an overseas delivery.

Delivery FAQ's

The cost of delivery depends on the size and weight of the order. Similarly, delivery cost will vary depending on the location and service required. We invariably try to ship on either a 24 or 48 hour delivery. We only charge our freight at cost price.
Same day deliveries may be requested but the order must be placed prior to 12-noon and be paid for in advance or have sufficient credit to despatch. We cannot guarantee same day delivery. Deliveries will be on best endeavours and dependent on warehouse schedules.
We can arrange for goods to be delivered on Saturday mornings, between 9am and 1pm. Please call us directly on +44 20 3763 7000 if you wish to make a Saturday delivery.
We deliver to all parts of the UK, but please be aware the cost and delivery time may vary depending on where you are located.
All delivery dates can be chosen by the customer as long as enough notice is given.
If no one is available to sign for a delivery, the goods will return to the local transport depot of the delivery company. Attempted re-delivery of the items will then take place the following day, or the goods will remain at the transport depot if instructed to do so.
The delivery drivers will only call before delivery if they need help in locating the delivery address, or to inform of a possible delay.
If your delivery has arrived damaged, the goods can either be rejected or signed for as ‘DAMAGED’. The delivery must clearly be signed for as damaged in order for either Alternergy/the courier to be able to review this.
If your order is missing delivery parts (e.g. declared boxes = 5 and only 4 are physically present) please sign for as incomplete and contact a member of staff at Alternergy immediately. They will then look into this for you, and determine where the problem has arisen and how quickly replacements can be sent if appropriate.
ALWAYS check that the order is full, correct and not damaged before signing for it.
If your product is out of stock then please speak to a member of staff at the office who will try to ascertain when the item will next become available. We can often acquire goods within a couple of days.
Simply place your online order by 2pm for collection the following morning, or by 5pm for collection the following afternoon. This free service is available for all UK despatches. Select the ‘Warehouse Collect’ option at the checkout when placing your order.
