Rajiv Bhatia

An experienced business manager, Rajiv has worked for Sir Richard Branson and Sir Alan Sugar at Board level and has skills and experience covering a broad range of roles and business sectors. As Director of Corporate Development for Virgin Group, he was responsible for new business investments and opportunities.

 

Rajiv was responsible for starting up a number of businesses at Virgin such as Virgin Cinemas, V2 Music Group, Virgin One Bank, Virgin Active (health and fitness clubs), Virgin Mobile, etc, all of which have proven successful. Responsibilities included corporate development, strategy, corporate finance, project management, mergers and acquisitions, plus a trouble shooting and non executive management role in a number of businesses.

 

Following on from Virgin, Rajiv was Managing Director of Sir Alan Sugar’s Technology Investment Division.  Over the last few years, Rajiv worked as a Consultant to one of the UK’s leading renewable energy company.

 

Earlier in his career, Rajiv was a consultant at Pricewaterhouse Coopers, one of the worlds largest and most prestigious consultancy firms.
